USCACA and CSCO to collaborate on cancer research, clinical trials and educaton

       On invitation from the CSCO incoming President Professor Sukui Qing, USCACA sent a delegation to attend the annual CSCO conference in Xiamen, October 14-17, 2009. Professor Shou-Ching Tang, President of USCACA delivered a lecture on the current approaches and future directions of breast cancer treatment at the opening session on breast cancer on October 15th, 2009. Dr. Xiaoxiang Chen, the USCACA executive and other USCACA members were also part of the USCACA CSCO delegation. Professor Tang highlighted the structure, mission and mandate of USCACA during his speech at CSCO. Discussions were held between USCACA and CSCO on future collaboration in clinical research, education and scholar exchange between USA and China, including the upcoming clinical trial phase I program in China organized by USCACA.
